Free admission for mothers at Historic Brattonsville
Moms get in free on Mother’s Day!
McCONNELLS, SC – What was it like to be a mother 150 years ago? Moms can find out at Historic Brattonsville, where they’ll receive free admission on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 10.
The entire family will step back in time as costumed interpreters bring to life the Carolina Backcountry of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Don’t worry, dads. You’ll receive free admission on Father’s Day, Sunday June 21. And remember, admission to the Museum of York County is free every Sunday.
COST Free for moms! Other adults, $6; Seniors, $5; Youth ages 4-17, $3; members and children 3 and younger admitted free.

The Culture & Heritage Museums are managed by the York County Culture and Heritage Commission (CHC), chartered in 1997 by the York County, South Carolina, Council. The Culture and Heritage Foundation supports the CHC, its museums and the future museum being developed on the Catawba River at I-77.
