Visit the animals at Children’s Day on the Farm
Learn about heritage breed animals, authentic toys and games
McCONNELLS, SC – Visit the newborn lambs and heritage breed animals at Children’s Day on the Farm, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Historic Brattonsville.
Learn about farm life in the 18th and 19th centuries through fun hands-on activities: a 4-H petting zoo, children’s crafts, toys and games. New this year, an entertainer from Williamsburg, Va., will perform an authentic 19th century medicine show. (Visit www.historicaldiversions.homestead.com.) Throughout the day, a cast of characters will delight visitors with tall tales, music, feats of strength and puppet shows.
