MCCONNELLS, SC – Historic Brattonsville offers something for everyone during the autumnal festivities of “Spirits & Stories: Brattonsville by Twilight.” Early in the afternoon on Saturday, October 18 from 3 – 6 p.m., Brattonsville will be bustling with good old-fashion fun for all ages with apple-bobbing, wagon rides, and historic harvest demonstrations.
After sunset, the brave of heart can follow historically dressed interpreters on a guided lantern tour and hear the dark tales of Brattonsville’s past. Among locals, the antebellum plantation has forever been known as a favorite haunt for spirits and ghosts. Bring a flashlight and discover for yourself if legendary spirits from the distant past still roam about.
The Mike Scoggins Band will be performing around the campfire from 6-9pm. Food concessions will be available for purchase by the Friends of Historic Brattonsville.
Admission: Adults - $6, Seniors - $5, Youth (ages 4-17) - $3, FREE to CHM members and children age 3 and younger.
