Rock Hill – Join in “Let Loose with Mother Goose,” a new program for 3-4-year-olds from 10-10:45 a.m. Mondays February 2, March 2 and April 6 at the Museum of York County.
Favorite Mother Goose nursery rhymes help children learn by listening, seeing, touching, creating and moving. For the February program, children will create their own candlesticks and jump over stacked objects like “Jack Be Nimble” and “Jane Be Quick.”
Program leader Lauren Butts (“Mrs. B”) may be a familiar face as she recently taught Junior Explorers Camp at Museum of York County. Before joining the Culture & Heritage Museum staff, Lauren taught kindergarten and first grade art in the Fort Mill School District.
Reservations required one week in advance by calling 803.981.9182. Registration limited to 12 children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost $5 per child per program; $3 per child for members. Additional non-member adults pay general admission price.
