Suzy Bogguss to perform at McCelvey Center

YORK, SC – Country musician Suzy Bogguss will perform at the 500-seat Lowry Family Theater at the McCelvey Center, 7 p.m. Saturday, February 18.

Evocative vocals and strong songwriting give Suzy Bogguss’s works style and substance. She has won Country Music Association’s Horizon Award and Album of the Year, American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers country and pop awards for songwriting and a 2005 Grammy for her contribution to the Best Folk Album, Beautiful Dreamer, the Songs of Stephen Foster. 

Her new album and book, “American Folk Songbook,” offers a fresh take on several American classics.

COST $12 CHM members, $15 non-members.
