Future Museum
The Culture & Heritage Museums (CHM) is developing a new museum on the Catawba River in Fort Mill at I-77.

About the Museum:
This indoor/outdoor experience will be located on about 59 acres of land just west of the I-77 Catawba River crossing, with new public access to a mile of a free-flowing stretch of the Catawba River.
The museum will be developed in phases, beginning with a river-walk trail and outdoor pavilion to allow for programming on the property. The river-front trail will be part of the Carolina Thread Trail now being developed in 15 counties in North and South Carolina.
