White Gold and Red Clay: Agriculture on the Bratton Plantation
Summer is the height of growing season at Historic Brattonsville, so join us to learn more about how the Brattons and their neighbors raised food and made money. Our historic interpreters will present heritage crops and livestock, show how our ancestors cooked with seasonal fruit and vegetables, and demonstrate plowing without modern technology.
Time Travel Tuesdays: On Tuesdays this summer, join costumed interpreters and explore aspects of 18th and 19th century life for the Bratton family and others in the Carolina Piedmont.
