Tinkering is terrific! Bring your little learner to our Tinkering Tuesdays to explore repurposed materials and discover their creative process. We will explore textures, sounds, tools or senses. Ages 2-6 years old.June 27: Dig, Shovel, Hammer! We “dig” our sensory bins. Learn about spatial relationships while using tools such as chopsticks; grasp small hammers to make impressions or textures in sand. Look for…small tools for practicing grasping and materials such as dried beans and packing peanuts for digging through.
Members are invited to join us early, beginning at 9:00 am, for the fun. All museum guests are invited from 10:00 am – 12 noon. No registration required. Museum Admission plus $3 program fee per child.
