A Southern-style Backcountry Christmas comes to life during Historic Brattonsville’s annual Christmas Candlelight Tours. Through candlelit vignettes, costumed interpreters will recreate Christmas of the backcountry settlers in the 18th and 19th centuries. You will learn of old and new Christmas traditions.
In addition to the candlelight tours, children of all ages will enjoy period hands-on activities and visits with Father Christmas. You may relax around the campfire and enjoy musical entertainment, too. Historic Brattonsville is a perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season and experience some good old fashioned fun.
Friends of Historic Brattonsville will provide food, hot drinks and baked goods for purchase at the "Bratton Arms Tavern."
Please note that Brattonsville Road will be closed from 2:30-9:30pm. Please follow the detour signs.
Admission: Adults $10; Seniors $8; Youth 4-17 $6; 3 and under and CHM members free
