Christian Cicimurri, Curator of Natural Science, McKissick Museum, will be sharing her expertise of the rocks and minerals of the Carolina Piedmont region. Be prepared for some erupting news as we learn about our active Earth and local volcanoes. There are two programs, the first starting at 10:15 am, the second at 11:15 am.
After each program, join Dirt Dauber Deb’s Mobile Gem Mine outside for a chance to pan for gemstones you can keep. Tickets for panning are an additional $3 per person.
