Follow the reader to the Main Street Children's Museum! Join us one Sunday each month at 3 pm to celebrate the wonder of words and the power of pictures. This month's featured author is Melinda Long and her book, How I Became a Pirate.
Each month we will suggest a book to read with your family before our scheduled program. In the OWL Book Club, we will talk about the "read ahead book," listen to a new story read by an author or illustrator, and do an activity. Don't have the "read ahead book" at home? The books can be found at your local library.
Featured books will be available for sale and signing in the Museum gift shop following the program. This is a great way to build a very special library for a child! Book sales provided courtesy of Park Road Books.
