Event Description:

SATURDAY, JULY 14 & SUNDAY, JULY 15

See how soldiers and civilians survived the Revolutionary War in the Carolina Backcountry. Historic music performances, living history demonstrations, talks by noted experts and powerful theatrical performances will take place. Younger visitors can explore the Children’s Encampment area and experience historical toys and games, take part in military drills and explore a Revolutionary War camp. Battle skirmishes will take place at 2 PM.

New activities include a memorial wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday followed by a special presentation by the controversial British commander, Lieutenant Colonel Banastre Tarleton on Sunday.

Regular Admission: $6 Adult, $5 Senior, $3 Ages 4-17. CHM Members and Children 3 & younger FREE.
