Event Description:
Join us in commemorating the history of the Barnett Brothers and the Bennett Brothers Circuses with the dedication of a state historical marker on the site of the 1929-1946 circus winter quarters in downtown York. Mayor Eddie Lee will speak at the unveiling of the marker at 11am at the corner of Roosevelt and East Jefferson Streets. Enjoy refreshments and visit the circus historical exhibits, open May 19 and 21-25. Reception and exhibits located at the McCelvey Center.
