Death has always been a part of life, but the customs surrounding it have varied throughout the centuries. Come and witness it through the lens of the 18th century and the 19th century Victorian customs. Talk with a stone carver, Revolutionary War soldiers, and visit the plantation following the death of Dr. John Simpson Bratton and one of his slaves.
General Admission. Free for CHM members.
